Cooperative Society

SOCIEDAD COOPERATIVA (S.Coop.) – as in other countries, this is an association of members through a jointly owned and democratically controlled business, usually set up by the workers themselves.
 
Voting in a cooperative is by head, not as per capital contribution, and the transfer of shares is not possible.
